Journal Response Level-05
After reading "Game Experience" by Laura Ermi and Frans Mayra. I found it interesting on how that they had used a graph to show the level of games that would have sensory immersion, challenge-based immersion, and imaginative immersion would show the games that were popular game would have something that would make the game experience with it. Like how Halo 2 would have its experience to more focus on challenge-based immersion when the Old Republic would have its most experience on imaginative immersion which is kind of showing on how that people would find something to be very immersion during their gaming experiences. But going back up to another graph is that how game structures would have a lot of layers to it when a game is trying to get you to be immersed when playing the game. But I never knew that there have to be a lot of things to get the player immersion I thought just having good graphics, audio and etc would have to the player hook.
