Journal Response Level-10
After reading chapters 27 and 28 from "The Art of Game Design: A Book Lenses" and chapter 4 of "Level Up The Guide to Great Video Game". I learned that from "The Art of Game Design: A Book Lenses" is that as a game designer having a client could help out with some stuff despite having no game having no experience with game design. Like having the client's opinions about what needs to be change or replace something within the game but did not mean that their suggestion is right all the time because sometimes the client is trying to help me out with give some ideas for the game. Now what I get from chapter 27 is that it's telling that I would have to please my team, audiences, and client for the game that I'm designing but what happens if I have no team and it was only me to please that would mean that I would have to only please the audiences and client? Now for chapter 28, I found it interesting because it talks about how to give a pitch like how clients would look at my email but what happens if a client sees my game become popular would that mean that the clients would reach out to me about my game. Now the last reading I learned that if I have a group of the team I would have to make sure to communicate my idea so that my team would not be lost.
